The MINI Countryman’s Dynamic Stability Control uses braking and engine deceleration to adjust power output to the wheels, thereby helping eliminate over-steer and under-steer.
Our standard Rear-View Camera does more than just give you a crisp view of what’s behind. It also provides on-screen guidance markers to help you steer into a spot, and acoustic distance warnings which emit an audio tone when you’re getting too close to an object.
The camera-based Driver Assistant System thinks ahead to notify you of what’s going on around you. While you enjoy the ride, it will alert you about changing driving conditions, new speed limits, and approaching pedestrians. Variable Valve Timing constantly measures the pressure on the accelerator and precisely regulates air flow into engine cylinders. Valvetronic controls the amount of lift on each intake valve and works to avoid inefficient air flow at low speeds.
